Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality teaching in English language, literature and related areas; engage students through creative teaching methodologies; contribute to curriculum development, research, academic administration, and the overall development of the University.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, seminars and practical/communication-based English sessions.
Teach subjects such as English Literature, Communication Skills, Business Communication, Academic Writing, Grammar, Language Skills, and related courses.
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, presentations, assignments and assessments.
Use up-to-date teaching methods, ICT tools, LMS and blended-learning techniques.
Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students.
Conduct remedial and enrichment classes wherever required.





Assessment & Academic Activities
Prepare question papers, assignments, quizzes and examination materials.
Evaluate answer scripts, assignments, projects and presentations.
Maintain student attendance, academic records and other departmental documentation.
Participate in internal and external examination duties.
Support curriculum review and development.

Research & Publications
Conduct research in English Language, Literature, Linguistics, Communication or related areas.
Publish research papers in reputed journals and present papers at conferences/seminars.
Participate in research projects, workshops, FDPs and academic conferences.
Contribute to the University‘s research and publication activities.

Student Development
Mentor and counsel students regarding academic and career-related matters.
