Experience :-8–10yrs ( Import of Chemicals or Additives)

Experience in handling import shipments through Sea(major), of more than 100 shipments per month .Hands-on experience with Indian Customs procedures and import documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Solid knowledge of import freight forwarding, managing pricing with shipping line / agent and expert in international logistics.Coordinate end-to-end import shipments from international suppliers to India.
Liaise with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, CHA (Custom House Agents), transporters, and warehouses.
Arrange shipment bookings and monitor cargo movement to ensure timely delivery.
Handle and verify import documentation, including:

Bill of Lading (B/L)

Dual NOC

Commercial Invoice

Packing List

Certificate of Origin

Insurance Documents

Bill of Entry (BOE)

Delivery Orders
Coordinate customs clearance with CHA and ensure compliance with DGFT, ICEGATE, and Indian Customs regulations.
Track shipments, update stakeholders on shipment status, and resolve operational issues promptly.
Ensure timely duty payment, customs clearance, and transportation to the warehouse/plant.




Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport vendors to optimize logistics costs.
Verify freight, customs, and transporter invoices before processing payments.

Required Skills
Sound understanding of Indian Customs, DGFT, ICEGATE, HS Codes,
Experience in coordinating with CHAs, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Robust communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and work within tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
