Position: Project Manager – LPG Projects
n
Location: Navi Mumbai

Reporting To: Sr. Project manager

No of Reportees: 2-3
n

Criteria: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or related discipline with 5+ Years in experience in LPG projects, preferably in EPC, LPG bottling plants, storage terminals, industrial gas, or oil & gas.
n
n
Professional Experience:
n
n
- Robust practical knowledge of LPG storage, transfer, piping, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, vaporizers, bottling systems, and safety systems.
n
- Experience in project execution, installation, commissioning, and site management.
n
- Knowledge of LPG statutory and safety requirements is essential.
n
- Strong project planning, team management, vendor coordination, and customer-handling skills.
n
- Willingness to travel extensively to project sites and overseas locations when required.
n
n
n
Job Purpose:
n
Responsible to manage and execute LPG-related projects from planning through installation, commissioning, and final handover. should have hands-on experience in LPG storage and handling systems, piping, equipment installation, project execution, and coordination with customers, vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
n
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Manage complete LPG projects from project award to commissioning and handover.
n
- Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets, manpower,
materials, and resources.
n
- Handle projects involving LPG storage tanks, LPG bottling plants, LPG bullets, vaporizers, pumps, compressors, piping, unloading systems, and associated equipment.
n
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
n
- Review P&IDs;, GA drawings, equipment specifications, layouts, and project documentation.
n
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, vendors, contractors, and statutory authorities.
n
- Monitor site execution and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
n
- Ensure compliance with applicable PESO, OISD, PNGRB, SMPV, and other relevant LPG safety and statutory requirements.
n
- Manage contractors and site teams and ensure timely completion of project activities.
n
- Identify project risks, technical issues, delays, and cost overruns and implement corrective measures.
n
- Conduct regular project review meetings and submit progress reports to management.
n
- Coordinate inspection, pressure testing, commissioning, trial runs, and final handover.
n
- Ensure proper project documentation, as-built drawings, test certificates, commissioning reports, and handover documents.
n
- Handle customer queries and resolve technical/project execution issues.
n
- Travel: The person will need to frequently travel to project sites and customer locations, including international travel when required.
