Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Automation Engineer with expertise in Java+Selenium, leading our test automation initiatives. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the quality assurance strategy, mentoring team members, and ensuring that our automation frameworks and processes align with the highest industry standards. This is a leadership role requiring both hands-on expertise and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibility
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java & Selenium WebDriver
Automate functional, regression, and smoke test cases to ensure maximum test coverage
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Review requirements and identify automation feasibility
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Debug failures, analyze root causes, and work closely with development teams for resolution
Maintain reusable test utilities and improve framework performance
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives)
Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices
Required Skilset
Robust proficiency in Core Java (OOP concepts, Collections, Exception Handling)
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
Experience in TestNG / JUnit frameworks
Framework design experience (POM, Data-Driven, Hybrid, BDD - Cucumber preferred)
Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
Solid understanding of Git version control
Knowledge of API automation using Rest Assured or Postman
Experience integrating automation with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
