We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Engineer with 6+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and Kafka.
The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in distributed systems, REST APIs, databases, cloud technologies and containerized deployments, along with positive system design and technical leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, reliable and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
Design event-driven solutions using Kafka and other messaging technologies.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimize application performance.
Implement application security using Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT and related technologies.
Design and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure / GCP.
Participate in system design, architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis and drive performance/reliability improvements.
Mentor developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
