The role is responsible for overseeing the productive receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock availability, and implementing proper store management systems. It ensures smooth warehouse operations and supports procurement, production, and logistics.

Core Skills :
Computer proficiency, including ERP and inventory management software
Familiarity with engineering materials, equipment, and parts typically stored
Monitoring inventory levels and managing stock replenishment

Key Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update stock of engineering spare parts, consumables, and tools to ensure availability for ongoing operations and maintenance
Receive, inspect, and ensure proper documentation of incoming materials, verifying adherence to specifications and quality standards




Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of stock and vendors for quality supplies
Ensure safety standards are followed in storage and handling of engineering materials, minimizing risks of accidents or material degradation
Maintain proper labeling, storage conditions, and organization within the store to prevent damage and facilitate easy retrieval.
Responsible for daily store operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing engineering materials and equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment of materials
Handle material requisitions, coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and manage procurement processes
Resolve any material-related issues or discrepancies promptly
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store
Interacts regularly with production, procurement, and quality teams.
