Job Summary
n
We are looking for a QA/QC Manager whose first instinct is to prevent defects, not to catch them. At MSR Infraa, quality is engineered into the way every activity is planned, sequenced, and executed — so that the right outcome is the natural outcome, not the result of repeated correction. This role owns that discipline across our sites.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and stage-wise quality checklists across all major construction activities, including structural works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, MEP works, finishes, and façade.
n
- Establish and approve first-pour, first-unit, benchmark samples, and mock-ups to define quality standards and acceptance criteria before large-scale execution.
n
- Oversee material and vendor quality, including material specifications, approval procedures, sample submittals, incoming material inspections, GRN inspections, approved-makes lists, and reconciliation.
n
- Maintain comprehensive and auditable quality documentation and records, including checklists, cube and slump tests, rebar inspections, waterproofing flood tests, MEP testing and commissioning records, NCRs, and CAPA.
n
- Drive non-conformance management and root-cause analysis, ensuring recurring quality issues are addressed through permanent process and method improvements.
n
- Ensure construction activities comply with applicable IS Codes, NBC, IS 16700 requirements, IGBC Platinum criteria,
and RERA quality and defect-liability obligations.
n
- Coordinate quality requirements and interfaces with structural consultants, MEP consultants, architects, and internal project teams, particularly for critical activities such as slab levels, shaft and penetration coordination, and waterproofing.
n
- Conduct regular site inspections and proactively engage with execution teams before and during construction activities to prevent defects and ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
n
- Train and coach site engineers, supervisors, and contractor teams on approved methods, quality standards, and best practices.
n
- Lead quality reviews and report quality status, trends, risks, and improvement areas to project and senior leadership.
n
- Own the snagging and de-snagging process for units and common areas, ensuring a high-quality and smooth handover to customers and the maintenance team.
n
- Ensure complete handover documentation and quality records are maintained to support the project throughout the defect-liability period.
n
n
Required Qualifications & Experience
n
n
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent; a post-graduate qualification or quality certification (Six Sigma, ISO 9001 lead auditor) is an advantage.
n
- 10–12 years in construction quality, with meaningful experience on high-rise residential and/or premium finishes.
n
- Direct exposure to G+ towers, large-format tiling, waterproofing systems, and MEP testing and commissioning is strongly preferred.
n
- Working knowledge of IS codes, the NBC, IGBC / green-building documentation, RERA quality obligations, and high-rise compliance frameworks.
n
- Hands-on familiarity with QMS documentation, ITPs, NCR/CAPA systems, and standard site test regimes.
