Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Microbiology Manager with solid hands-on experience in formulation and microbiological analysis to manage microbiology activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day microbiology laboratory activities
Perform and supervise microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Handle formulation-related microbiological activities and testing
Develop, review, and maintain microbiological test methods and SOPs
Conduct microbial limit tests, environmental monitoring, and water testing
Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results
Maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, SOPs, and quality standards
Coordinate with QA, QC, Production, and R&D; departments
Manage laboratory equipment, media preparation, cultures, and consumables




Train and supervise microbiology team members
Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical / cosmetic / organic microbiology
Hands-on formulation experience is mandatory
Knowledge of microbial testing and laboratory procedures
Valuable documentation and analytical skills
Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and microbiological quality standards
Strong team management and problem-solving skills

Qualification
M.Sc. Microbiology preferred
B.Sc. Microbiology with relevant experience may also be considered

Experience
3–4 years of relevant experience
Formulation experience is mandatory
Experience in Pharma / Cosmetics / Herbal manufacturing will be preferred

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
