Role Purpose

Lead mechanical equipment and piping engineering for ISP projects, ensuring reliable, maintainable and constructible designs.

Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical equipment and piping engineering.
Review equipment specifications and datasheets.
Review pumps, compressors, fans, conveyors, gearboxes and hydraulic systems.
Review piping layouts, specifications and stress analysis.
Conduct equipment layout and 3D model reviews.
Review vendor drawings and technical documentation.
Ensure equipment maintainability and accessibility.
Coordinate mechanical interfaces with other disciplines.
Support procurement technical evaluations.
Support erection and commissioning activities.
Drive standardization and lifecycle cost optimization.

The ideal candidates should have:
15 - 25 years of total professional experience.
Robust experience in steel, metals, heavy engineering, EPC or large industrial projects.
Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects will be preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing large multidisciplinary teams.
Robust EPC contractor and technology supplier management experience.
Experience in commissioning and plant ramp-up is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of industrial HSE requirements.
Willingness to work from Mumbai/Navi Mumbai and travel to project sites as required.
Solid communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within schedule, budget and quality requirements.
