Who We Are DigiCom is an award-winning, Inc. 5000 digital marketing agency that helps growing companies surpass their goals. We act as both a high-touch partner and marketing consultancy, running growth programs for an impressive list of e-commerce brands and advising across all aspects of customer acquisition. Every decision we make is backed by data and we explain our reasoning every step of the way.
The Role We're looking for a Shopify Developer to implement our CRO work on client stores.
Our CRO team designs the landing pages, tests, and funnel changes. You build them accurately, quickly, and on live client themes. You'll receive complete design specs and working HTML references, and turn them into production Shopify pages that our media buyers can send cold paid traffic to.
This is an implementation role, not a strategy role. You won't decide what we test. You will decide how it gets built, and you'll own whether it works.
Do Not Apply If
You've never built landing pages for paid ad campaigns. Not a homepage, not a collection page, a standalone page built to convert someone who just clicked a Meta or Google ad, with everything else stripped away. If your Shopify experience is admin work, app installs, or backend integrations, this isn't the role.
You haven't worked on D2C or e-commerce brands. Corporate sites, WordPress, or B2B portals don't transfer. We need someone who has shipped for consumer brands with revenue on the line.
Frontend is not your strongest skill. You will spend your day matching a 4px gap on a 375px screen, chasing a layout shift, and debugging why a cart drawer breaks on iOS Safari. If frontend is the part of the job you'd rather delegate, you'll be unhappy here.
What You'll Do Build approved landing page designs as Shopify page templates and theme sections, editable by the client without breaking layout
Implement AJAX add-to-cart, cart drawers, bundles, upsells, and subscription/ selling-plan flows
Build and QA A/B test variants - no flicker, no layout shift, clean traffic split
Wire GA4 and GTM datalayer events on every build so tests can actually be measured
Keep pages rapid: clean Core Web Vitals, no render-blocking additions, no conflicts with existing client apps
Work across multiple client-owned themes, with staging and self-QC before every handoff
What You Need 3+ years Shopify development: Liquid, theme architecture, section schemas, JSON templates
Event and pixel implementation: Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, server-side/Conversions API setups where required. A page that ships without correct pixel firing is a page media buyers can't optimize against.
Strong platform-agnostic frontend fundamentals: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript deep enough to build and troubleshoot outside Shopify. ~20% of our builds run on custom websites; you don't need prior experience on it
Experience with building landing pages for paid campaigns,
Strong vanilla JavaScript. Enough to debug someone else's theme, not just add a library.
Shopify AJAX Cart API and custom cart behaviour
GA4 / GTM datalayer implementation
Fluent written English and ability to work on overlapping US Eastern hours
Git and a disciplined deployment habit
Nice to Have A/B testing tools (Shoplift, Convert, Optimizely, Intelligems, Shopify's own A/B testing app)
Shopify Plus, subscriptions (Recharge, Skio, Loop)
Replo, Shogun, or similar page builders
Supplements, pet, beauty, or CPG clients
What Success Looks Like Builds go live matching spec on first review, without design rework
Pages ship on schedule - tests have media budget waiting on them
Every page live with correct tracking and no speed regression
Our CRO team stops checking your work
