Key Responsibilities:
Line Operation & Production Targets o Operate and monitor specialized reactor manufacturing equipment (e.g., core stacking, coil winding, insulation wrapping, varnishing/impregnation, and testing setups) to achieve shift targets.
o Assist the supervisor in allocating raw materials & in other work for keeping the line running smoothly without stoppages.
Line Discipline & 5S Enforcement o Keep the reactor assembly area secure and organized by adhering strictly to 5S principles.
o Ensure all workers are using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following machinery safety protocols at all times.
Quality Assurance & Process Control o Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding winding tension, insulation layers, and core gaps to minimize rejections.
o Conduct basic in-process checks (like resistance or inductance testing) and flag any deviations to the Supervisor or Quality team.
Maintenance & Material Handling o Coordinate the movement of copper wires, lamination sheets, and insulation materials from the store using FIFO/FEFO guidelines.
o Report machine wear-and-tear or winding machine calibration issues immediately to the supervisor for maintenance support.
Reporting & Data Logging o Keep track of individual batch outputs, used materials, and scrap counts, providing explicit logs to the supervisor for shift handover reporting.
o Maintain production logs and note hourly output, downtime, and rejections to assist the supervisor with ERP data logging.
Education and Experience:
· Education: ITI (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical), Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or B.Sc (Electronics/Physics).
· Experience: 0 to 2 years of shop-floor experience in an electrical manufacturing environment. Prior experience with transformer, reactor, or heavy coil winding lines is highly preferred.
Skills:
· Technical understanding of magnetic components, coil winding, and basic electrical circuits.
· Ability to handle tools and machinery required for heavier electrical assembly.
· Ability to read and follow technical drawings and SOPs accurately.
