The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst (APAC) will enhance our offerings in the areas of data visualization, business intelligence and graphical output by analysing data, producing, and presenting data visualizations in a compelling way that will help our clients make the best real estate decisions.
The GIS Analyst will work closely with colleagues throughout the APAC research group. This is a excellent prospect for an analytically minded individual willing to learn multiple tools and technologies.

What this job involves
Create captivating visualizations, integrating JLL’s proprietary research data for the purposes of business development, external distribution, and client requests
Produce interactive maps, reports, and presentations that bring research content and real estate data to life
Generate choropleth maps by joining data from spreadsheets to government or statistical boundaries, cleaning up joins, and providing error analysis
Conduct service area analyses from current and shortlist locations
Map employee locations (points/connected to boundaries) and perform analytics using ESRI Demographic Data, JLL Research IP, and client data summaries
Deliver outputs including images with summary tables, Excel summaries, and maps (e.g., drive time catchments/rings)
Assist on projects from initial debrief to finished product following standard operating procedures with limited oversight
Contribute to the GIS center of excellence and provide support to GIS colleagues as needed
Develop and share best practice standards with the APAC Research Group
Desired skills and experience for this job
1 - 3 years of related GIS experience, real estate knowledge a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
BS/BA in geogr
