Key Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimations for precision engineering and machined components.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Calculate machining cycle time, material cost, tooling cost, and production cost.
Coordinate with production, purchase, and design departments for costing inputs.
Prepare quotations and maintain estimation records.
Support process improvement and cost optimization activities.
Understand CNC/VMC machining operations and manufacturing processes.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
Robust analytical and calculation skills.
Valuable communication and coordination abilities.
Familiarity with ERP/software for costing is an added advantage
