Role & responsibilities
Ensure all workers follow site safety rules and regulations.
Preferred candidate profile
Monitor use of PPE like helmet, shoes, gloves, belt, jacket etc.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for workers.
Prepare safety reports, checklists, and records.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Ensure scaffolding, lifting tools, machines are protected to use.
Maintain fire extinguishers, first aid box, emergency arrangements.
Coordinate with project manager, engineers, and contractors on safety matters.
Ensure work permits for hot work, height work, excavation, electrical work etc.
Stop unsafe work practices immediately.
Maintain statutory compliance as per company and government rules.
Promote safety awareness among all employees.
Prepare emergency evacuation and rescue plans.
