Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Assist in procurement of civil construction and structural materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, hardware, and finishing items.
Collect quotations from vendors and prepare comparative statements.
Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per project requirements.
Coordinate with site engineers, store department, and suppliers for material delivery.
Track material dispatch and ensure timely supply to project sites.
Maintain purchase records, invoices, delivery challans, and vendor databases.
Negotiate basic rates and payment terms with suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and support stock planning.
Ensure purchased materials meet quality and specification standards.
Follow company procurement policies and approval processes.

Required Skills:




Basic knowledge of civil construction materials and structural works.
Positive negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software for purchase management.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vendors.
Solid coordination and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
Familiarity with local market vendors and supplier management.
Understanding of billing and material reconciliation processes.

Salary

Location - Patiala, Punjab

Pay: ₹25,559.67 - ₹35,354.71 per month
