The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately handling cash, card, and other forms of payment. The role involves operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and respond to their inquiries.
Operate the cash register or POS system to process sales transactions.
Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments accurately.
Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per company policies.
Count and balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the checkout area.
Assist with stocking shelves or displays when needed.
Bag or package purchased items carefully and efficiently.
Follow company procedures for handling returns, voids,



and price overrides.
Report any discrepancies, errors, or suspicious transactions to management.
Provide information on products, promotions, and store policies.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced workplace.
Must be honest, reliable, and punctual.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
