Atha is a growing e-commerce fashion brand, and we're looking for a freelance Finance & Accounts Manager who can take ownership of the day-to-day financial tracking and management of the business.

This is not just a bookkeeping role.

We are looking for someone who can help us understand the financial health of Atha, keep our numbers organised, track profitability, identify where money is going, and make sure we always have a explicit picture of our business finances.

What You'll Be Responsible For1. Day-to-Day Financial Tracking
Maintain a complete record of all business transactions.
Track daily sales, expenses, payments, receipts, refunds, returns, and other financial activity.
Reconcile transactions across our bank accounts, payment gateways, marketplaces, Shopify/e-commerce platforms, etc.
Make sure no transaction is missed or incorrectly recorded.
Maintain organised financial records and supporting documents.
Profit & Loss Management
Maintain and regularly update Atha's Profit & Loss statement.
Track:




Revenue
Cost of goods sold
Gross profit
Marketing expenses
Shipping/logistics
Packaging
Salaries/freelancers
Platform/payment gateway fees
Returns/refunds
Operational expenses
Other business costs
Give us a transparent understanding of gross margin, net profit and profitability by month.
Help us understand where we are making and losing money.
Cash Flow Management
Maintain a explicit view of how much cash is coming into and going out of the business.
Track upcoming payments and financial obligations.
Help us understand our available cash position.
Flag potential cash-flow issues before they become problems.
E-commerce Financial Tracking

Because Atha is an e-commerce fashion business, you should be comfortable tracking the financial impact of:
