Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Playwright and TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in automation testing, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
Design Page Object Model (POM) based automation frameworks and reusable components.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and automation libraries.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with developers for issue resolution.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure test coverage, quality standards, and timely delivery across releases.
Prepare test plans, test cases, automation reports, and testing documentation.

Required Skills
3+ years of experience in Test Automation.




Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript programming.
Expertise in Web Automation Testing.
Valuable understanding of Playwright concepts:
Locators
Fixtures
Assertions
Parallel Execution
Trace Viewer
Reporting
Cross-browser Testing
Experience with API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Experience with Git, GitHub, and version control practices.
Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Skills
Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domain.
Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based test execution.
Performance and Security Testing exposure is an added advantage.
