If you are a supply chain skilled with experience in project execution and expediting, Emerson has an exciting prospect for you As a Procurement Execution and Expediting Engineer, you will be part of the Measurement Solutions team based in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely execution of orders by closely monitoring vendor progress, coordinating documentation, and driving on-time delivery to meet project schedules. You will work with internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers to resolve delays, manage escalations, and ensure compliance with quality and documentation requirements.
InthisRole,YourResponsibilitiesWillBe:
Documentation & Approvals
Follow up on drawings and document submissions from vendors.
Coordinate with Project Managers for customer approvals on documents.
Provide timely updates to Buyers regarding document approvals from customers.
Drive closure of pending documentation to avoid delays.
Order Execution & Monitoring
Monitor production status and track delivery schedules.
Follow up on inspections and approvals at vendor facilities.
Arrange shipping documents and coordinate vendor logistics (if applicable).
Manage vendor communication throughout project execution.
Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on order status.
Quality & Compliance
Coordinate material inspection and quality verification at Emerson warehouse.
Handle rejection of materials, including vendor coordination and internal escalation.
Manage non-conformance reports (NCR) and ensure timely resolution.
Monitor and resolve technical deviations during execution.
Expediting & Escalation
Handle urgent requirements and expedite requests as needed.
Manage delays and escalate issues promptly to avoid impact on project timelines.
