Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables and other requirements.
Identify and develop reliable vendors and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely material availability.
Coordinate with Production, R&D;, Quality and Stores for material planning and procurement.
Evaluate vendor quality, pricing, lead time and performance.
Maintain purchase records, vendor documentation and MIS reports.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid stock-outs.
Ensure purchases comply with company quality and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant purchase/procurement experience is mandatory.
Experience in Ayurvedic and/or Pharma manufacturing is mandatory.
Robust knowledge of Ayurvedic/Pharma raw materials and packaging materials.
Valuable negotiation, vendor management and communication skills.
Robust knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
Candidates with experience in Ayurvedic/Pharma manufacturing companies will be preferred.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
