Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA Engineer with robust experience in manual and automation testing, primarily for web applications. The role requires solid testing fundamentals, Playwright automation, functional and non-functional testing, and basic security testing exposure.

Key Responsibilities
Understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Derive effective test scenarios and test cases covering positive, negative, and edge cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
Build and maintain web automation scripts using Playwright.
Validate RBAC, authentication, authorization, and user permissions.
Perform basic security testing with awareness of OWASP Top 10.
Support API and database validation where required.
Identify, log, and track defects with clear impact and reproduction steps.
Participate in defect triage, release validation, and regression cycles.
Use AI tools for basic test case generation,



test data creation, and edge-case identification.
Apply spec-driven testing by deriving test coverage directly from requirements and specifications.

Must-Have Skills
58 years of QA experience.
Strong manual testing experience.
Hands-on automation using Playwright.
Strong web application testing experience.
Good understanding of functional and non-functional testing.
Experience in test case design and requirement analysis.
Knowledge of RBAC, authentication, and authorization testing.
Basic understanding of OWASP and security testing.
Exposure to API testing.
Positive debugging, defect reporting, and communication skills.

Valuable to Have
Postman / API testing tools.
SQL / database validation.
CI/CD and Git exposure.
Basic performance testing.
AI-assisted testing exposure.
Agile / Scrum experience.
