Job Purpose

The Pharmacy Assistant supports the registered pharmacist in the daily operations of the retail or hospital pharmacy. This includes managing inventory, processing prescriptions, providing customer service, and ensuring the pharmacy maintains high standards of hygiene and organization.

Key Responsibilities
Prescription Support: Assist the pharmacist in retrieving, counting, and labeling medications accurately.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, check for expiring medicines, and coordinate with distributors to replenish supplies. Ensure all stock is stored under appropriate conditions (e.g., refrigeration for vaccines/insulins).
Customer Service: Greet customers, manage the billing counter, and handle cash/digital transactions. Assist walk-in customers with over-the-counter (OTC) products and general healthcare supplies.




Administrative Tasks: Maintain digital and physical records of sales, prescriptions, and narcotics (as per Schedule H1 regulations). Use pharmacy management software to process orders.
Maintenance: Ensure the pharmacy premises, shelves, and dispensing areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety standards.
Delivery Coordination: (If applicable) Organize and track local home deliveries for regular patients.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
