Digantara is looking for a Junior Legal Associate to provide assistance with day-to-day legal and regulatory compliances. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Digantara’s business from a legal and regulatory perspective.

Responsibilities
Prepare documentation for corporate and regulatory compliance on a case-by-case basis.
Monitor the status of legal and regulatory compliance, including any statutory filings and returns.




Interface with external consultants for compliance (including corporate, secretarial, and labour-related compliance), at regular intervals.
Provide assistance in the review of in-house strategies for IP protection and data protection and privacy laws.
Assist the team with legal due diligence support as a part of the fundraising processes.
Conduct extensive legal research on topics related to the business and operations of Digantara, as may be required from time to time.
Provide assistance in the drafting and review of contracts, including service agreements and NDAs.
Contribution to reviewing and/or drafting in-house legal and policy documentation.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputed university in India.
0 - 1 years of experience as a legal skilled in India.
Experience with conducting legal due diligence as a part of fund-raising processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
