About the Role

Key Responsibilities (Teaching - Humanities)
Teach Psychology to Classes XI-XII as per CBSE curriculum and guidelines.
Prepare lesson plans, notes, case studies, worksheets, and assessments aligned with CBSE standards.
Conduct regular tests, practicals, projects, and internal assessments as prescribed by CBSE.
Support students in board examination preparation and project work.
Maintain records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities (Counselling)
Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for students.
Address students’ academic stress, emotional concerns, behavioral issues, and personal challenges.
Guide students on study skills, time management, goal setting, and exam preparedness.




Provide career guidance and help students make informed academic and career choices.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to support student well-being.
Maintain confidentiality and proper documentation of counselling sessions.
Conduct workshops, awareness programs, and life-skills sessions for students.

Eligibility Criteria
Master’s Degree in Psychology from a recognized university.
B.Ed. degree is mandatory (as per CBSE norms).
Diploma or certification in Counselling / Guidance Psychology will be an added advantage.
Prior teaching or counselling experience in a school setting is preferred.
Sound knowledge of CBSE Psychology syllabus and assessment pattern.
