About the Role

Euro International School is seeking a responsible and technically sound Computer Lab Assistant to manage and maintain computer laboratories as per CBSE requirements. The role includes assisting students and teachers during practical sessions, handling basic hardware and software issues, and supporting school assemblies and events by overseeing technical and logístical arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
Computer Lab Management
Maintain smooth day-to-day functioning of computer laboratories.
Ensure all computers, peripherals, and networking equipment are in working condition.
Assist teachers during computer practical classes and support students in lab activities.
Ensure proper seating, discipline, and secure use of systems by students.
Maintain lab schedules, usage records, and inventory of equipment.
Hardware & Software Support
Troubleshoot basic hardware issues related to CPUs, monitors, keyboards, mice,



printers, and projectors.
Ensure proper functioning of internet connectivity and network systems in the lab.
Coordinate with external vendors or IT support for major technical issues.
Student Handling & Support
Guide students on correct usage of computers and lab rules.
Ensure adherence to CBSE norms related to computer education and lab safety.
Support teachers in conducting assessments, practical exams, and projects.
Assembly & Event Support
Oversee technical arrangements for morning assemblies, including sound systems, microphones, projectors, and displays.
Assist in setting up audio-visual systems for school events, functions, meetings, and celebrations.
Ensure smooth coordination during events and promptly resolve technical issues.
Safety, Discipline & Compliance
Ensure safety and security of lab equipment and digital resources.
