Position:OT Technician
CTVS
Department:Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgery (CTVS)
Experience Required: Minimum 6+ Years (CTVS OT experience mandatory)
Qualification:
Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology
Relevant certification in OT Technology (preferred)

Salary Budget:Up to ₹35,000/- per month (Based on experience and interview performance)

Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain the CTVS operation theatre before, during, and after surgeries.
Ensure availability, functionality, and sterility of all OT instruments, machines, and equipment.
Assist surgeons, anaesthetists, perfusionists, and scrub nurses during CTVS procedures. 4. Handle and maintain specialized cardiac OT equipment including suction, cautery, and monitoring devices.




Support in setup and troubleshooting of heart-lung machine accessories (as coordinated with perfusionist).
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and disposal as per hospital guidelines.
Maintain OT inventory, including instruments, consumables, and implants.
Document OT records, equipment usage, and maintenance logs accurately.
Ensure OT readiness for emergency cardiac surgeries and on-call duties as per roster.
