Take overall responsibility for plant operations during the assigned shift.
Supervise production, packaging, manpower and material handling activities.
Ensure achievement of production targets as per plan.
Allocate manpower and monitor performance during the shift.
Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams for smooth production.
Monitor machine performance and ensure minimum downtime.
Ensure compliance with production, quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
Maintain shift-wise production and operational reports.
Handle and escalate operational issues, breakdowns and manpower-related concerns.
Ensure proper handover of shift activities to the next shift.
Maintain discipline and ensure employees follow plant rules and safety procedures.
