Earnest RCM is a healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) startup. We handle billing operations end-to-end for provider groups and RCM companies. Complex claims that need to be called on are routed to experienced human specialists for follow-up and resolution.
Role Overview
The Insurance Caller will focus exclusively on calling US insurance companies (payers) to follow up on medical claims and denials, resolve claim status issues, and support collections-related workflows.
Core Responsibilities
Perform outbound payer calls for claim status checks, denial follow-up, payment delays, and processing issues.
Efficiently handling insurance interactions to maximize information gathered in call.
Navigate payer IVRs and reach live representatives quickly.
Ask the correct questions to obtain actionable claim updates.
Follow Earnest SOPs for call approach, question flow, documentation standards, and escalation logic.
Document call outcomes clearly and consistently.
Maintain high productivity and accuracy while calling.
Remain highly responsive for updates and feedback throughout the day.
Required Experience
Prior experience calling US insurance companies for medical claims.
Solid familiarity with payer IVR navigation, claim status workflows, and payer terminology.
