Job Overview

The Plastic Material Processor role at GOEX is a hands-on production position where you support extrusion operations by preparing, blending, and delivering raw materials to the production lines. You’ll manage multiple materials, operate blending and grinding equipment, perform cleanouts during changeovers, and ensure the correct materials are supplied to each line without contamination.

This role combines responsibilities from material handling, blending, and regrind processing — making it a key part of keeping extrusion running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot equipment issues, maintain accurate material records, and communicate closely with the extrusion team to stay ahead of production needs.

This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a quick-paced, physical workplace. GOEX provides hands-on training, so if you’re dependable, organized,

Responsibilities
Manage and supply raw materials, regrind, and additives to dryers, blenders, and extrusion lines
Set up, operate, and maintain blending equipment; follow BOMs and recipes to ensure correct material mixes
Operate grinders efficiently, process regrind material, and maintain accurate grinding room records
Clean blenders, grinders, gaylords, and material lines; ensure all equipment is free of particulate to avoid cross-contamination
Perform material cleanouts during job changes; coordinate with extrusion personnel to ensure materials are ready
Identify and resolve blender alarms, draw issues, and basic grinder problems
Maintain complete and accurate paperwork, TES entries, and material tracking records
Communicate material needs, upcoming changes, and shift updates with Material Handlers and incoming shifts
