Role Overview:
The Project Officer - Wellness Initiative will support the implementation and coordination of Bindi’s community-based wellness and health programmes focused on adolescent girls and women. The role includes working on innovative digital health education initiatives, organising community health outreach platforms, and strengthening access to preventive and primary health services for women and adolescents in rural areas.
This is a field-anchored programme role requiring solid coordination,
community engagement, and implementation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Implementation
Support planning and execution of wellness and health initiatives in assigned districts/blocks
Implement creative digital learning programmes on sexual and reproductive health and nutrition for adolescent girls
Organise health meals, school and community workshops, and awareness sessions for adolescent girls and women
Work with community health champions and grassroots facilitators to deliver programme modules
Ensure integration of menstrual health, nutrition, mental well-being, gender, and climate-health linkages in interventions
Health Access & Service Linkages
Facilitate access to health services for women and adolescents through telemedicine platforms and referral networks
Coordinate community-based screening initiatives for non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including breast and cervical cancer sc
