Key Responsibilities

Project Scheduling & Planning
Create master schedules for complex steel fabrication projects.
Define project phases including detailing, material procurement, fabrication, blasting, painting, and delivery.
Estimate resource needs like manpower, machinery, and factory space.

Progress Tracking & Control
Monitor daily progress against the baseline schedule.
Identify bottlenecks in production early and create recovery plans.
Update stakeholders with regular progress reports and charts.

Cost & Material Management
Track material arrival to prevent factory downtime.
Monitor project budgets and analyze variance between planned and actual costs.
Manage change orders and assess their impact on timelines.

Team Collaboration
Coordinate closely with design, procurement, production, and quality control teams.
Lead planning meetings to align factory supervisors with project goals.

Job Requirements Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil,



or Industrial Engineering.
8+ years of experience in planning within a heavy steel fabrication or heavy engineering plant.
Proven track record handling large-scale structural steel projects (e.g., bridges, high-rise structures, oil & gas modules).

Technical Skills
Expertise in software like Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, welding procedures, and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing).
Ability to read complex engineering drawings and blueprints.

Soft Skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Solid communication skills to bridge the gap between management and shop-floor workers.
Outstanding time-management skills under tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
