Role & responsibilities and Position Title: Registered Nurse Reporting To: Nurse ManagerSupervises: Champions, Caretakers Role PurposeTo ensure delivery of secure, timely, and person-centred clinical care to residents within the assigned pod. The registered Nurse executes daily nursing procedures, ensures implementation of care plans including documentation, monitors resident health status, and supports & elevates the morale of the care team. Key Responsibilities1.

Resident Clinical

Monitoring & Care
Administer medications as per MAR and ensure medication safety protocols are followed.
Perform nursing procedures: wound dressing, catheter care, blood sugar checks, oxygen therapy, nebulization, etc.
Conduct and record daily vital signs and clinical observations.
Care Plan Implementation
Ensure daily tasks align with the care plan prepared by the registered nurse.
Observe changes in health condition and escalate to Nurse Manager/DMO.
Support physiotherapy and diet instructions through reinforcement and monitoring.
Clinical Documentation
Maintain accurate nursing notes and update MAR and incident records.
Document escalation calls, refusals of care, or abnormal findings.
Participate in care plan reviews with updated inputs on resident condition.
Team Support & Supervision




Guide Champions and Caretakers on hygiene care, transfer techniques, and secure practices.
Ensure the nursing team is briefed on resident updates during the huddles.
Participate in shift handovers with relevant clinical details.
Infection Control & Emergency Response
Enforce hand hygiene, PPE usage, and isolation procedures.
Be the first responder for emergencies until DMO intervention.
Ensure prompt reporting of any clinical incidents or near misses.

Job Specification Registered Nurse Criteria

Details Education

GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from recognized institution; valid nursing registration Experience

24 years of bedside nursing experience, preferably in geriatric or long-term care Knowledge

Basic nursing procedures, geriatric signs and symptoms, medication protocols Skills

Clinical vigilance, protected handling, empathy, basic supervision, documentation Tools Familiarity

QMS/EMR software, clinical equipment and gadgets etc. Behavioural Attributes

Calm under pressure, empathetic, team player, reliable, clinically alert Languages

Basic English and local language fluency required Work Schedule

Rotational shifts, including night duties, weekends, and holidays
