A reputed law firm is looking for a competent and reliable Stenographer to assist advocates with litigation and day-to-day legal office work.

Position: Stenographer / Legal StenographerLocation: LucknowEmployment: Full time

Key Responsibilities: Taking dictation from advocates and accurately transcribing legal documents. Drafting and typing petitions, applications, affidavits, notices, replies, written submissions and correspondence. Preparing and formatting documents for filing before Courts and Tribunals. Maintaining case files, documents and office records. Handling printing, scanning, e-mail communication and basic document management. Coordinating with advocates and office staff regarding case papers and filing requirements. Maintaining strict confidentiality of client and case-related information.

Required Skills: Good shorthand and typing speed. Excellent English typing and formatting skills. Working knowledge of Hindi typing will be an advantage. Proficiency in MS Word, PDF handling,



e-mail and basic computer operations. Ability to accurately type legal terminology and lengthy dictated documents. Positive attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. Previous experience in a law office, advocate’s chamber or litigation practice will be preferred.

Candidates with experience in High Court/District Court legal drafting and documentation will be given preference.
