Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and surgically manage patients with various types and stages of cancer.
Evaluate patients and determine appropriate surgical treatment plans based on clinical findings, investigations, and cancer staging.
Perform and assist in major and minor oncological surgical procedures as per specialization and hospital requirements.
Manage pre-operative evaluation, surgical planning, and post-operative care of oncology patients.
Coordinate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, and other specialists for multidisciplinary cancer treatment.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and discuss complex oncology cases.
Monitor patients for post-operative complications and provide appropriate management.
Conduct regular OPD consultations and follow-up of post-operative and cancer patients.
Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, surgical options, expected outcomes, risks, and recovery.
Maintain accurate clinical records, operative notes, treatment plans, and discharge documentation.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, patient-safety standards, infection-control practices, and applicable clinical guidelines.
Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, and academic activities where required.

Valuable knowledge of current surgical oncology protocols and multidisciplinary cancer care.
Solid communication and patient-counseling skills.
Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary medical team.
Eligibility
MS/DNB General Surgery with MCh/DNB Surgical Oncology.
Valid medical registration.
Previous experience in a reputed cancer hospital or multispecialty hospital will be preferred.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month
