Job Overview

PlayerNation is looking for Match Annotators to analyze football matches and convert match events into accurate, structured datasets. The role involves data annotation, data cleaning, quality checks, and supporting analytics and machine-learning workflows. Training will be provided, so prior annotation experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Watch and analyze football matches

Identify and annotate key events and actions from match footage

Convert video data into structured datasets

Prepare and clean data for analytics and machine-learning projects

Identify inconsistencies and maintain data quality

Follow annotation guidelines and quality-control processes

Incorporate feedback and ensure dataset accuracy

Candidate Requirements

Interest in football and data analytics, statistics,



engineering, computer science, or analytical work

Solid attention to detail

Problem-solving mindset

Ability to follow structured processes

Ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies

Basic understanding of football (preferred but not mandatory)

Interest in machine learning, analytics, or sports technology

Willingness to learn and grow in a data-focused role

No previous annotation experience required

Salary & Growth

₹20,000 per month for the first 6 months

Top performers can progress to a CTC of ₹3 LPA after 6 months
