Role Description The Tape Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the tape plant, ensuring continuous, efficient, and secure production of tapes used in PP/BOPP bag manufacturing. This full-time, on-site role in Gwalior includes planning and monitoring production schedules, managing machine operation and maintenance, optimizing resource utilization, and reducing downtime.

The role involves supervising plant staff, assigning tasks, providing training, and promoting secure work practices and compliance with company policies.

The Tape Plant

Manager analyzes production data, monitors quality standards, implements process improvements,



and coordinates with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to meet output and delivery targets.

Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in plastics, tapes, or packaging production.
Knowledge of extrusion, tape plant machinery, and related production processes, including basic mechanical understanding.
Skills in production planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
Ability to lead and supervise teams, manage shifts, and maintain a secure working environment.
Competence in monitoring quality parameters and coordinating with quality control to meet product specifications.
Basic proficiency with production reporting.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant plant management experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Willingness to work on-site in Gwalior and manage flexible working hours as per plant requirements.
