Job Summary

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager General Trade to drive sales, manage distributors and retailers, and expand the business across the assigned territory.

The candidate should have solid experience in FMCG/General Trade sales, primary and secondary sales, distributor management, and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Drive primary and secondary sales and achieve sales targets.
Manage distributors, dealers, wholesalers, and retailers.
Develop new distributors and expand the retail network.
Plan regular market visits, beat plans, and route coverage.
Ensure product availability and improve outlet coverage and sales.
Execute trade schemes, promotions, merchandising, and visibility activities.
Identify recent markets and business opportunities.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and market trends.
Track distributor stock, orders, and market supply.
Prepare sales reports, MIS, forecasts, and target vs. achievement reports.
Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.




Travel regularly across the assigned territory.

Candidate Profile
Graduate/MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in FMCG, General Trade, Distribution Sales, or related industries.
Strong experience in primary and secondary sales.
Experience in distributor and retailer management.
Good knowledge of territory management, beat planning, and market expansion.
Solid communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Target-oriented and able to work independently.
Willing to undertake extensive field travel.
Kannada, English & other regional language knowledge is preferred.
