Role Description The Testing and Commissioning Engineer (EEE) is responsible for performing electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning activities for power plants and substations. This full-time in office role is based in Chennai and involves planning and executing test procedures, verifying equipment performance, and ensuring systems meet technical and safety standards.

Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, coordinating with project and site teams, preparing detailed test reports, and supporting handover of systems to operations.



The engineer will also assist in reviewing drawings and technical documents, maintain compliance with relevant codes, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust skills in Electrical Testing and Testing of power system equipment.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge as Commissioning Engineers, including commissioning of substations and power plant systems.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Troubleshooting and Electrical Engineering for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
Experience in power generation, transmission, or distribution projects is highly beneficial.
Understanding of relevant electrical standards, safety practices, and industry regulations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Strong communication, teamwork, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and safety.
Willingness to work on-site at project locations and adapt to field conditions.
