Test Engineer- Trading Functional System Test - Trading

Your responsibilities:

Plan and perform functional system testing of the Deutsche Brse Group Trading System T7, with timely and high impact feedback

Closely align with the functional, build and acceptance teams for a streamlined effective delivery process

Self-organize software testing for your area of expertise with focus on responsibilities, contents, and schedule

Create and update test models and scripts for test automation

Constantly enhance (automated) smoke test and regression test portfolios to ensure high functional coverage

Ensure that the software deliveries fulfil the defined quality requirements for the installation in higher test environments and in Production

Drive the continuous improvement of software testing activities / processes and test reporting

Your profile:

University degree in business studies or in Engineering or comparable qualification





Solid expertise in functionality of cash and derivatives trading systems is essential

Deep knowledge of test methodology, management, planning and execution. A professional tester certification, e.g., ISTQB is a benefit

Deep experience in iterative and agile development methods with dedicated expertise for testing of software from a functional perspective

Deep experience with creating, executing and analysing automated functional tests

Solid user experience in Linux operating system, GitHub, Jira and continuous integration

Expertise in scripting for test and test automation; scripting in python preferred

Inter-personal skills are essential to successfully fill this position:

o Highly self-motivated and self-directed o Robust communication and analytical skills o Ability to organize work and drive results in our international team o Proficiency in written and spoken English
