Equipment Maintenance
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of cell manufacturing machines (coating, slitting, calendaring, winding, notching, assembly, formation & grading, etc.).
Conduct routine inspections to ensure machines are in optimal working condition.
Maintain maintenance logs and machine history records.
Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in production equipment.
Repair equipment with minimum downtime to ensure continuous production.
Support calibration and testing of machine components.
Process & Equipment Improvement
Identify recurring failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
Suggest and execute modifications to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
Work with the Process Engineering team to enhance machine performance.
Spare Parts & Inventory Management
Monitor critical spare parts, tools, and consumables.
Ensure availability of spares to avoid production delays.
Coordinate with the purchase team for spare procurement.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain records such as PM checklists, breakdown reports, and equipment manuals.
Follow maintenance SOPs, safety guidelines, and industry standards.
Support internal and external audits (ISO/IATF where applicable).
CrossFunctional Coordination
Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
Support installation, commissioning, and testing of current equipment.
Train operators on basic machine handling and checks.
Safety & EHS
Ensure all maintenance activities follow EHS (Workplace, Health & Safety) procedures.
Report safety incidents, near misses, and take corrective measures.
