We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced UK Conveyancing Paralegal to join our international teams. In this role, you will support our legal team through every stage of residential and commercial property transactions. The ideal candidate thrives in a rapid-paced workplace, excels at client communication, and possesses solid organizational skills to keep transaction pipelines moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management: Handle residential and commercial conveyancing files from initial client intake through post-completion and land registry registration.
Title & Document Review: Conduct thorough title searches, review property searches, inspect deeds, and draft legal documents (including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage paperwork).
Client & Third-Party Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders,
and opposing legal counsel to provide regular updates and clear queries.
Financial Administration: Prepare completion statements, submit Land Transaction Tax / Stamp Duty returns, and request funds from clients and lenders.
Compliance & Support: Assist attorneys with identity checks, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, and general legal administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 1+ years of experience as a UK conveyancing paralegal or legal assistant handling real estate transactions.
Education: Graduate from any field of study
Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple tight deadlines simultaneously.
