Role & responsibilities
A robust passion for perfumery and creation and a keen interest in the fragrance industry.
A degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field of science is preferred but not mandatory.
Participate with full commitment in the multi-year, DSM-Firmenich Perfumer School, including learning and applying the curricula at work.
Learn and apply the principles of fragrance formulation, ingredient and technology selection, and fragrance evaluation pertaining to natural, synthetic and biotech materials.
Participate in fragrance evaluations and sensory testing, providing feedback and insights to the perfumery team.
Learn and master the systems, tools and processes in fragrance creation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fragrance development, marketing, sales and regulatory, to ensure the successful execution of fragrance projects.
Maintain accurate documentation and records.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in perfumery techniques, ingredients, and industry regulations.
Assist perfumers in the creation and development of recent fragrances, adhering to the company's guidelines and customer requirements
