Role & responsibilities
Create and edit accurate General Arrangement (GA/Erection) drawings using Tekla Structures.
Prepare and update plans, elevations, sections for structural steel and Misc. Steel projects.
Ensure correct member marks, dimensions, levels, grid lines, views, annotations, and erection information in GA drawings.
Review structural steel models and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
Identify discrepancies between drawings and models and raise RFIs when required.
Coordinate with modelers, engineers, detailers, and project coordinators to resolve drawing-related issues.
Incorporate engineering/client comments, revisions, and markups accurately into GA drawings.
Check drawings before submission and maintain project quality standards.
Handle multiple projects and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills:
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically in GA/Erection editing using Tekla Structures.
Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication practices.
Valuable understanding of AISC / CISC standards & US/Canada-based structural steel projects
Strong practical knowledge of Tekla Structures GA drawing tools, drawing properties, views, templates,



and drawing settings.
Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Candidates with experience in other fields but without relevant structural steel detailing / Tekla experience are requested not to apply.
