Role & responsibilities
Create accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures.
Develop structural steel models based on engineering and architectural drawings.
Handle beams, columns, bracings, stairs, platforms, handrails, miscellaneous steel, and connections.
Model and detail steel connections as per project requirements and applicable standards.
Generate NC/DXF files, bolt lists, material lists, and reports.
Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
Identify discrepancies and raise RFIs when required.
Coordinate with engineers, detailers, and project coordinators.
Check drawings before submission and maintain project quality standards.
Handle multiple projects and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills:
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience specifically in 3D Modeling using Tekla Structures.
Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication practices.
Good understanding of AISC / CISC standards & US/Canada-based structural steel projects
Candidates should have a solid understanding of Tekla connection macros, connection settings, and their practical application in structural steel models.




Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
Valuable knowledge of Tekla numbering, assemblies, bolts, welds, reports, and drawing creation.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Candidates with experience in other fields but without relevant structural steel detailing / Tekla experience are requested not to apply.
