Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai for a Tunnel Senior Surveyor. The role involves planning and executing tunnel surveying activities, including establishing control points, conducting precise measurements, and ensuring alignment and levels are within design specifications.

The Tunnel Senior

Surveyor will interpret engineering drawings, prepare survey reports, and maintain accurate records of all field data.

Responsibilities include coordinating with site engineers and construction teams, monitoring excavation progress, and supporting quality and safety compliance in all surveying operations. The role also involves supervising junior surveyors, managing surveying equipment,



and assisting in resolving on-site technical issues related to survey data.

Qualifications
Strong tunnel and civil surveying expertise, including experience with underground works, alignment control, and geotechnical considerations.
Proficiency with survey instruments and software (e.g., total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, auto levels, and CAD or survey processing tools).
Solid understanding of engineering drawings, construction layouts, and industry standards for tunnel and infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate survey records, prepare reports, and communicate findings clearly to project stakeholders.
Relevant technical education in civil engineering, surveying, or a related discipline; professional certification or licensure in surveying is an advantage.
Experience working on large tunnel or infrastructure projects, preferably in an in office role, with familiarity in safety protocols and quality procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary site teams.
Willingness to work in field conditions and adapt to project schedules and timelines in a busy construction environment.
