Role & responsibilities
Solid expertise in Kotlin with deep understanding of Android SDK.
Extensive experience with MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
Hands-on experience with Jetpack libraries, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and Dependency Injection frameworks (Hilt/Dagger).
Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
Proficiency in unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing frameworks.
Solid understanding of mobile security, encryption and secure storage.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins etc.,
Expertise performance optimization, memory management, and debugging.
Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted engineering tools to drive developer efficiency, automation, and innovation across the software development lifecycle.

Preferred candidate profile




Define and drive the overall architecture for native Android applications.
Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions using Kotlin, JetPack Compose.
Establish coding standards, design patterns, and mobile engineering best practices.
Architect secure and high-performance mobile applications.
Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, backend teams, and enterprise architects.
Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.
Drive automation, testing strategies, and release management.
Mentor and guide Android developers and technical leads.
Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, performance, and App Store guidelines.
Extensive experience working with large-scale digital commerce and retail applications, ensuring scalability and performance.
