The role demands robust system-level thinking, cross-functional coordination, and disciplined execution to ensure vehicle programs are digitally mature, compliant, and production-ready without disruption
Preferred candidate profile
Own complete vehicle-level integration across BIW, chassis, suspension, powertrain, electrical, and trim systems.
Prepare and maintain advanced engineering vehicle layouts including master packaging, mounting strategy, and interface definition.
Define, control, and freeze vehicle hard points for suspension, steering, powertrain mounting, battery/fuel tank integration, and body interfaces.
Conduct DMU integration reviews to ensure clash-free assembly, service access feasibility, and manufacturing readiness.
Validate CAD models, assemblies, and drawings for completeness, accuracy, GD&T; compliance, and engineering standards before release.
Manage design release governance through Windchill PLM including revision control, lifecycle workflows, metadata discipline, and BOM alignment.
Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to ensure DFA/DFM feasibility and build-ready design closure.
Support homologation and regulatory compliance activities for ARAI/ICAT approvals, AIS/CMVR requirements, and safety-critical system validation.
Drive closure of homologation-related non-compliances and ensure smooth transition from E-BOM confirmation to MBOM implementation.
