Role Description The Weld Shop Engineer will oversee day-to-day welding operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring processes meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities include planning and monitoring welding workflows, optimizing welding parameters, and coordinating with production and quality teams to resolve technical issues. The role involves reviewing weld designs, implementing process improvements, supporting root-cause analysis for weld defects,



and maintaining compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines.

The Weld Shop

Engineer will also train and guide shop personnel on best practices and new technologies in welding and metallurgy. This is a full-time, in office role based in Aurangabad.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Laser Welding and Arc Welding for automotive manufacturing applications.
Candidates should possess solid expertise in Quality Control and Welding Inspection to ensure adherence to internal and customer specifications.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Metallurgy to analyze material behavior, weldability, and performance under operating conditions.
Relevant degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production/Welding Engineering or a related field.
Experience in automotive component manufacturing or heavy engineering settings.
Familiarity with welding standards, safety regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Kaizen).
Ability to interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and process documentation, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
