Role & responsibilities
Manage day-to-day project accounting and finance activities for the Data Centre project.
Maintain project-wise books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
Monitor project expenses, budgets, costs and cash flow.
Prepare project-wise MIS reports, cost statements and variance analysis.
Track project billing, invoices, receivables and payables.
Verify vendor/subcontractor bills, work orders, purchase orders and supporting documents.
Coordinate with the Project, Procurement, Commercial and Finance teams for financial transactions.
Monitor PO/WO values, expenses and commitments against approved project budgets.
Assist in preparation and submission of client invoices and RA bills.
Reconcile vendor accounts, customer accounts and project-related transactions.
Ensure timely booking of expenses, provisions, accruals and project costs.
Support monthly closing, audit and statutory compliance activities.
Monitor advances,



retention money, deposits and other project-related financial items.
Identify cost overruns and highlight financial variances to project management.
Maintain proper documentation for internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable accounting standards.
Prepare reports and provide financial insights to management for project cost control.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent.
Experience in Project Accounting / Project Finance, preferably in EPC, Construction, Infrastructure, MEP or Data Centre projects.
Valuable knowledge of project costing, billing, MIS, vendor reconciliation and financial reporting.
Experience with SAP/ERP and MS Excel preferred.
