About the Role
Ocean Thermoplastic Elastomers Private Limited is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Sales Manager to drive the sales and market development of our TPR compounds, primarily for the shoe sole industry.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the footwear industry, good relationships with shoe sole manufacturers, and proven experience in B2B sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow sales of TPR compounds in the footwear and shoe sole industry
Identify and develop new customers, footwear manufacturers and sole manufacturers
Build and maintain solid relationships with existing customers
Generate new business prospects and expand the customer base
Conduct product presentations, trials and technical discussions with customers
Coordinate with R&D; and production teams for product development and customer requirements
Handle commercial negotiations,
pricing and order closures
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing
Ensure timely follow-up on orders, payments and collections
Travel extensively within the assigned territory to develop the market
Candidate Profile
5–10 years of experience in TPR, TPE, rubber compounds or footwear raw material sales
Experience in shoe sole / footwear industry is highly preferred
Strong network among footwear and shoe sole manufacturers
Proven track record in B2B sales and business development
Good technical understanding of TPR compounds and their applications
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
Target-oriented and willing to travel extensively
